The Cade R. Alpard Foundation for Pediatric Liver Disease has been an official Houston Marathon charity since 2008. The Houston Marathon has been the primary fund raiser for Cade's Foundation and the Run for Cade's Cause has grown from 1 runner in 2004, raising $7,000 to 47 runners in 2014, raising over $56,000.
